Ten years in, and my work as a mix engineer has made its way from major radio to the Juno awards, viral streaming and platinum numbers. These are things I could have never imagined when setting out on this journey a decade ago; Back then, my main focus was drumming. And really going for it with my band. Having studied Jazz and Electroacoustics in University, I was always drawn to the studio equipment and dove in hard to learn the craft. This eliminated the need to hire outside the band, and major breakthroughs for our music in the world. Today, the thrill of starting a new mix is as enthrallling as ever. My job is bridging artist to audience, with connection being the ultimate driver. A mix needs to connect. Period. I will get your mixes there, so that all your hard work can pay off when your music is discovered and delivers beyond expectation. I work tirelessly towards this goal.
